Octane Evolution

My partners and I soon decided we should have our own naturally derived skincare range. I willingly, curiously, and if I’m honest, quietly (let’s not tell my mates) became the Guinea pig for all manner of potions, salves, oils and creams that were brought home weekly from the factory. Clumsily packaged in odd containers with mysterious codes and numbers haphazardly written on them, I’d try them out. “Too gritty” I’d report, or “too smelly”, or memorably “why does this have the colour of slime?”…

They looked relaxed and fresh after their treatments, and filled bag after retail bag with skincare products from our salons’ retail lounges. During my observations it was a rare sight to see a male walk into a salon, let alone buy something for himself.…and then it hit me! Men do want to look after themselves, want to take care of their skin, but the whole salon, retail experience was completely tailored to women!……
